Cinematography
This shot is to convey / introduce a location where character is in his/her environment to audience. Basicly, it is about geographical location.
2. Wideshot (WS)
This shot include entire subject and important object in the immidiate surroundings, but this is shorter shoot than extreme wide shot.
3. Medium Wide Shot (MWS)
This ot usually cut off across the legs above or below knees. This shoot is to show the physical setting in which the action is taking place.
4. Medium Shot 1 (MS1)
This shot shows the subject that are important to understanding what the subject is doing. Gesture and expression more visible.
5. Medium Shot 2 (MS2)
A medium shot of a person performing movement or action, on the other hand, would have to include his arms and hands, since these are generally important to understanding what he's doing.
6. Medium Close Up (MCU)
This shot shows the subject character from approximately midway between waist and shoulders to above the head.
7. Over The Shoulder Shot (O.S)
This shot shows the subject from behind the shoulder of another person.
8. Close Up Shot (CU)
A close-up is used to isolate the most important part of the subject. For a speaker, this is generally the head, or small object.It emphasizes facial expression, details of a object.
9. Extreme Close Up Shot (ECU)
An extreme close-up single out a portion of the face magnifies a detail. The object is to focus on important detail either to increase the drama or impact on a situation or to allow the viewer to see necessary picture information more clearly.
Exercise 1 - 5 September 2017
Software Requirment : Adobe Premiere (any version)
Today we practice new software which is Adobe Premiere. We learn basic of Adobe Premiere as our warm up. First of all we watched senior video and we tried to understand it. After that, we were given all footage from their video and than we make that video based on our compherhension since that footage not in sequence. As a warm up, a lecture gave several basic in Adobe Premiere such as shortcut, how to make new sequence. This module is created for students to make short video (as my compherhension) so, he was giving requirements for short video such as no more than 2 minutes and no more than 3 people in video.

Week 3 - 13 September 2017 (STORY DRAFT #1)
Storyline
Once upon a time, there is a boy who called Tommy. He is a High School student and gamer addicted. He loves DOTA 2 so much until no one tries to interrupt him till her mother can interrupt him. One day, Tommy was cutting some paper with his cutter for finish his homework. After he finised his homework, he open his laptop to play DOTA2. He login to steam, and click "play" on steam. He is searching opponent for his next match. When he is waiting for that, suddenly he get future vision. In his future vision, he is waiting to find his opponent for his next match (same with current situation), while her mother comes and calling him to dinner together. He feels that so annoying and he grab his cutter that he used before, than he stab her mother. She scream and fall down. She is trying call Tommy and facing her son carefully. "Mom, i am sorry. i didnt know what i did to you" said Tommy after he conscious. "Tommy"... Tommy" said his mother. After that, he back to current situation which is still sit and facing his laptop to find his opponent since his mother next side to him and calling him. He feels that so annoying, but he remember that his future vision. So, he cancel his next match and eat together with his mother.

As a warm up, my lecture comment that my editing is good, how i cut / trim is smooth, there is no jumpcut, but the ending is incorrect sequence.
Week 2
For the concept is good but need to prepare the story first to know where can i manage or edit.
Week 3
About the story, i need to improve or change the introduction, so i can decide the ending.
Week 4
Change the occupation, because i didnt observation deep down about that occupation
Week 5
Need to make the story shorter, because it takes approximately 10 minutes.
Week 6
This is the worst story that Mr. Martin that he ever read before. The set up for introduction is good but for confrotation and ending is suck. He suggests me why try use "illusion friends" with your knowledge to make you confident. The schizophernia is hard to make it because it is hard and connect to the psychiatrist issue.

This is my rough understanding about vision. Basicly, vision is kind of what you see and the you know what it is. However, there is many understanding for vision itself. For example, in a company has a lot of goals / targets and they need vision to achieve that, or there is a shaman (or kind of like that) can see a future with his/her vision, or many people can create something by his/her vision to play another vision such as Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. Furthermore, when i was searching short animation / short video in Youtube, i found one video that i interested.
The video is called "THE VISION". This video is inspired by DOTA2 games. So, before i identify this video, i will give short explanation about DOTA2. First of all, DOTA2 is multiplayer online battle arena a.k.a MOBA. This game requires 5 persons in team to defeat another 5 person and the player can choose what character that they can play to destroy ancient's enemy. So, in this video, there is 5 heroes (or you can call that character) stuck in current situation which is they will lose and their ancient in danger. But, there is one character who can see that as future vision. So, when he knows that they will lose, he can tells to his teammates and and create planning to revenge/tactics.
Week 3 - 13 September 2017 (STORY DRAFT #1)
Storyline

Week 4 - 20 September 2017 (STORY DRAFT #2)
Purpose:
To remind people especially children and youth that if they
want to play game online, please be aware of time, deadline, or care about
surround themselves and even your precious body which is your eyes.
Storyline
- Setup (Introduction)
Tommy is just senior high school student, he has a good
family which love him so much. He always helps his friends who can’t understand
on biology lesson. That’s why, he wants to be an doctor which is ophthalmologist
in the future. He like drawing, watching film and playing games online. Yeah,
game online… everything changes when game online comes to Tommy’s life.
- Confrontation
Intentionally, he only played offline game such as zuma,
pinball, and others offline game when he was in Junior High School and he
always number 1 at that time. But, on his first day of Senior High School, he
got first friend called Bobby who always play online game. He introduced DOTA2
which is MOBA (massive online based arena). This game requires 5 players in 1
team. He always invites Tommy when he wants to play. Eventually, Tommy addicted
with this game, he never submits his assignment on time, always denied or
ignore his parents when his mom / dad asks something, his ranking decreased
dramatically and he always do something to get the time to play that game. 3 years
later, this time Tommy graduated from his Senior high school, he enrols on Doctor’s
academy. He past the writing test, but he doesn’t past the practical eye test.
Because he can’t read what the judge ask in the board without glasses and the
test requires the participant read on the board without glasses. He got glasses
when he always playing game online without aware the time and his eyes is tired
but he didn’t stop at the time. So, he forced his eye to see what’s going on in
the screen. The announcement time is coming, his father is angry with the
result because he put an expectation to his son. After Tommy and his father
debate of the result, Tommy decide to run away from home because he feel
useless.
- End
He runaway to somewhere that he doesn’t know what place is
that. He daydreams in one spot place. He is thinking why he can’t past the
Doctor’s academy test. And he remembers someone who made him like now. He tries
to search “Bobby” on his phone. He found it and he call Bobby to meet up in restaurant
since he near with one restaurant at that time. He meets up with Bobby and he
angry with his condition. Bobby only can defence himself because he doesn’t feel
that he did something wrong. But, Tommy denied it, he feels that Bobby is the
one makes his ambition mess up. Eventually, Bobby as his best friend, he only
suggests Tommy choose to be teacher since Tommy’s favourite lesson is Biology
on Senior High School. Tommy back to his home with Bobby’s car. He feels sorry
what he has done with his father and he ask his father to support him to be
teacher. His father apologizes and he accept that. After that day, Tommy
attempt Teacher’s academy test and he passed that. He feels thanks to Bobby
even that previous time he hated him and his parents feel proud of him.
Week 5 - 27 September 2017 (STORY DRAFT #3)

Laura is an introvert girl and love music but she has a
traumatic since she always get bullied in Senior High School cause of she is
geek. Now, she is 18 years old and at this time she should go university and
take her major. Day by day, time by time is flew. She get a new friend but she does
not realized that his friends is illusion friends. Her friend is good for her,
always support her when she takes some decision. In the beginning of semester,
there is a music club recruitment and she wants to join that recruitment. Her
illusion friend who has name Jenni supports her and give her motivation to join
that club because Laura can play keyboard. Yes, she passed the test recruitment
and she join that club. She comes to welcoming party for new comers in that
club. She feels happy because people in that club like her. She plays piano on
that party. But, she doesn’t realize that other person envy with Laura’s
ability is Nana who bully Laura in Senior High School.
In the first month of
music club, her leader invites her to join band competition as a person who
play keyboard on that band. But, at that time, Nana knows that and she feels
envy again because she feels that she more professional than Laura. Then, she
meets Laura to talk about that. She insults Laura, she makes humiliate upon
Laura, and make Laura feels is getting worse and worse eventually cry and
running to toilet. When Nana see Laura is running to toilet, she feels happy
about that. In the other side, Laura is crying in the toilet and she looks into
mirror. She looks Jenni companies Laura from mirror. Laura tells everything
what she get from Nana. As always, Jenni give motivation to her, helps her to
get better feeling. At that same time, Laura’s music leader see what Laura is
doing in the toilet. Laura’s leader still in the toilet room and see that Laura
is talking lonely like a crazy person with keyhole toilet room ! She has look
three times before this and she feels that Laura is crazy. After Laura out from
toilet, Laura’s leader go out from toilet room, she is thinking why Laura talking like a crazy while she walks
to her class. After class end, Laura meet with her leader and she talks that
she wants to quit from club and let Nana replace her. But, Laura’s leader
denied Laura’s decision and she ask a question that with who Laura talked.
Laura answered that Jenni and she is Laura’s friend. Laura’s leader is surprised
because she doesn’t look any people talk with Laura and she tells that she has
three times look Laura talks lonely like Schizophrenia person. Laura feels mad
about what her leader said. She doesn’t believe that Jenni is illusion friend.
Then, Laura’s leader feels sorry about what she has talked. Laura accept that and
she is wondering why her leader said like that. In the night of the day, she is
searching what does mean of Schizophrenia and she surprised because is kind of
mental disorder illness and has an illusion friend. She doesn’t believe that.
The day after chaotic day, she decide goes to psychiatrist
to check if that true that she has Schizophrenia. And yes, she got Schizophrenia.
The psychiatrist said that if Laura want to be a normal girl, she should eats
pills from psychiatrist and should go therapy that available from the psychiatrist.
In that therapy, she learn how to remove her illusion friend. She set up her
mindset by say that is not real when she meet Jenni. It is quite hard for her to
says that but she should say that. Month by month, she did that and Jenni never
comes again. Now, Laura’s has a new friend which is her leader and her leader
always support her also give her extra guidance when Nana bothering her.

Week 6 - 4 October 2017 (STORY DRAFT #4)
Laura and an illusion friend.
Laura is Schizophrenia girl but she doesnt know that she get that illness until she realised that. The story begin when Laura playing piano with her illusion friend in her room. They are enjoying the music with singing together and talking each other. Yeah Laura is talking with Jenni the illusion girl. But, it stop because her mother open the door and see what happens. Her mother shocked because she realise that her daugther talking like a crazy girl, she doesnt anyone except Laura it self. Laura's mom decide to go to psychiatrist with Laura itself. The psychiatrist said that Laura got schizophernia which is mental disorder illness. Suddenly, Jenni appears on that place and said "i am real" to Laura. Laura is freaking out with this situation. She runs away to the toilet while Jenni is following her. Laura arrive the toilet and sit in the corner of the toilet and she hug herself. She is panic. Suddenly, Jenni appears again and said "i am real Laura, that psychiatrist is lying". After that, Laura screaming out "AAAAAA YOU ARE NOT REAL". After that, Jenni is disappear.
Week 6 - 4 October 2017 (STORY DRAFT #5)

1. Laura and Jenni (an illusion friend) playing, singing, and talking each other in Laura's room
2. Her mom heard that her daugther talking lonely.
3. Her mom open the door and suddenly she shocked because it is true her daugther talking lonely
4. Laura and mom face to face and talking each other on the dining room and Laura's mom says that Laura needs to go psychiatrist
5. Laura was offended because her mom said she is crazy.
6. Laura back to her room and talk with Jenni
7. Jenni's respond is she is convincing that she is real and she ask to Laura that dont ever believe anyone.
Act 2
1. Jenni is getting intense appear than before to convince (in whisper mode) that she is real and she isnt illusion. She appear in daily routine
2. Laura suffers and feels annoying with this situation. She screaming out in her room and start asking "WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR ME?"
3. Jenni appears again and said " I AM REAL ! PLEASE DONT BELIEVE YOUR RETARD MOTHER"
4. Laura was offended again because she doesnt believe that Jenni is her best friend said like that.
Act 3
1. Laura remember that mom said she needs go to psychiatrist (flashback)
2. Laura decide go to psychiatrist and asking the solution since the psychiatrist said Laura got schizophernia (this scene just silence and only wideshot to show the room and show that they face each other )
3. The psychiatrist gives medicine to Laura
4. Laura eat that medicine with guilty and reluctant feeling. (flashback to her memories with Jennifer).
5. Laura feels guilty since she didnt believe her mom itself. They hug each other.

I found a website about color scheme for cinematography, it helps me a lot to get familiar with color scheme for cinematography. They introduce every scene such as happy, sad , anxious scene and many more. Every scene they introduce what color scheme suitable for that.
About soundtrack for short film itself, i search on Youtube which no copyright so i can use that free.
WEEK 9 - 1 November 2017 (STORY DRAFT #6 REVISED)

Act3.
1. After Jenni is kicked out from Laura’s room. Laura sit in the floor and cry because of that. (sit and hug her legs)
2. When she is crying, the illusion boyfriend suddenly appear. She surprises and stand up.
3. The illusion boyfriend hug her and say "i am fine, please dont worry about me".
4. After that, he releases his hug and smile to Laura.
5. Laura wants to pull him to hold him but he disappear. At the same time, the picture that torn before become normal again.
6. She suprises that picture is become normal again. She take that picture and flip that picture.
Behind that picture there is a note said "Please dont worry about me, i am still with you"

He was my boyfriend in real life who died one year ago because flight accident from Indonesia to
Malaysia to meet me. I can let him go, so i am keeping remember that until i dream it.

Yes i am a new housemate of Laura, we just move last month, and i am wondering something.
She always skip her class on every Friday. She can sleep 3 times on a day !
This is upnormal sleep cycle, and i am curious with her.
Is she eat some sleep medicine to skip the class or she hate the class on every Friday
or she is addicted with drug? Oh yeah, i saw her on Thursday night, she buy some medicine again
for sleep. I feel that she is addicted to drug!

This is upnormal sleep cycle, and i am curious with her.

Story set up:
Act 1
1. Laura prepare for meeting with her illusion boyfriend. ( e.g make up)
2. Laura meet with her illusion boyfriend on a restaurant.
3. She said good bye with her illusion boyfriend since her medicine is runout
4. She says good bye to Jenni because she wants to buy medicine again.
5. Jenni respond is allow her but she is starting curious and she feels that Laura addicted to drugs.
Act2.
1. Laura back to his condominium and starting to prepare for meeting up with her illusion friends.
2. Jenni see Laura prepare on toilet share room. She see the medicine on washbowl and she is starting
ask why Laura prepare like want to date someone.

7. While laura in dream, Jenni is watching a tv and suddenly hear someone delirious.
8. Jenni guess Laura is doing that, so she trying to heard that beyond laura’s door
9. Jenni sure that Laura did it. So she knock the door hardly and shout out Laura name

she knows that boy is not calling like that. She look her watch and she knows that this is not
her time to go back real life. But she feels annoying, so she says good bye to him with reluctant feeling.

11. Jenni finaly open the door and see inside of Laura’s room. She found that medicine next to side
her bed also her boyfriend photo. In the same time, laura wake up and she realize that Jenni now
enter her room, laura trying to cover her medicine and her boyfriend’s photo, but Jenni take that
faster than her.

1. After Jenni is kicked out from Laura’s room. Laura sit in the floor and she clean up the medicine and also that photo.
2. Jenni doesnt back to her room, but she feels gulity and still figure out by open slightly the door and she what happens.
3. Jenni see that Laura still crying and make her getting guilty. So she slowly to getting inside and she says sorry for that.
4. Laura heard that and she also feels guilty because she kicked jenni out. So she hug Jenni.
5. After that Laura tells the reason why she did this (flashback mode to the Laura got calling
from boyfriend’s mom that he died and funeral)

Story set up:
Act 1
1. Laura prepare for meeting with her illusion boyfriend. ( e.g make up)
2. Laura meet with her illusion boyfriend on a restaurant.
3. She said good bye with her illusion boyfriend since her medicine is runout
4. She says good bye to Jenni because she wants to buy medicine again.
5. Jenni respond is allow her but she is starting curious and she feels that Laura addicted to drugs.
6. Because Jenni is curious, she following Laura that Laura buy some drugs in black-market outside
condominium and Jenni is scare toward of her finding result.
7. After that, Jenni run fast back to her condominium.

5. Laura wants to pull him to hold him but he disappear. At the same time, the picture that torn before become normal again.
6. She suprises that picture is become normal again. She take that picture and flip that picture.
Behind that picture there is a note said "Please dont worry about me, i am still with you"

Week 1
As a warm up, my lecture comment that my editing is good, how i cut / trim is smooth, there is no jumpcut, but the ending is incorrect sequence.
Week 2
For the concept is good but need to prepare the story first to know where can i manage or edit.
Week 3
About the story, i need to improve or change the introduction, so i can decide the ending.
Week 4
Change the occupation, because i didnt observation deep down about that occupation
Week 5
Need to make the story shorter, because it takes approximately 10 minutes.
Week 6
This is the worst story that Mr. Martin that he ever read before. The set up for introduction is good but for confrotation and ending is suck. He suggests me why try use "illusion friends" with your knowledge to make you confident. The schizophernia is hard to make it because it is hard and connect to the psychiatrist issue.
