INCEPTION TITLE SEQUENCE by Robert Vogt
From this video i got something as key to remember :
1. Lopping and seamless transition
2. Color scheme that keep repeating e.g blue - black - blue - black
3. The element of shape is concern with the theme "Inception"
4. Metamorphosis of the element it self

Example of  metamorphosis, from "C" to "headphone"

5. Music / background music is important because it can build emotion and trigger audience.

•  Conclusion of all group

1. Visual and Music is synch
2. Introduce theme of the show but not all, in other words, it is short and abstarct clip from the show
3. Giving good first impression of the show to trigger the audience.
4. Color scheme and good colour pallete
5. Shape and symbol that concern of the theme and represent the theme
6. Typography : Appealing and Readable, also the placement is focus on negative and positive space.
7. Focal point and Composition rule (e.g rule of third and golden ratio)
8. Repitition
9. Anticipation
10. Positive and negative space
11. Title always show at the end of the video

Today's Conclusion :

1. Motion Graphic is can be one form (e.g CGI only) or mixed up with other form within good composition, dynamic, and synch with the song. 
2. Title sequence is only very little part that reveal the show, movie, or theme to trigger emotion and curiosity of the audience
3.  LESS IS MORE AND MORE IS LESS

Week 2

So after i research and i decided which one film that i choose is Divergent.
Here is my hypothesis about this film that i watched more than 3x times.

On that movie, the story is about the girl, Tris who dont know that she is divergent. Divergent is another faction that it is not involves 4 formal factions exist in this film (dauntless, amity, erudite, abnegation, and candor). In that movie, they called that “illegal factions” . When the aptitude test comes, Tori as the tester knows that Tris is belong to Divergent based on the test, so she asks Tris leave earlier and dont tell anyone that Tris is Divergent, or she will die. The test is use some kind of liquid to be injected inside participant body to create some imagination / problem action inside their minds. From that, the tester knows what action they acted and become the result based on that.

​The logo (typography) of the Divergent it self is looks like “slice” style. Based on my perspective, i assume that is about “break the rules”. Thats why the logo is slicing, means break the rule.

Why is about break the rules? Because the main character is know that is not about where you belong, but is about how make this world is peaceful.

So to make i understand about this movie and i can insight of it, i did some research and i found website that explain the story development.

In term of that, i know that this movie is not about the factions only, how the main character rebels and aptitude test. Yes, there is sci-fi things inside the movie, but there is only support for it. This movie is telling us how to life peacefully without being racism. Furthermore, this movie teaches us about over-use high-end technology will destroy human being. We can see from the scene where Jeanine as the Erudite leader, be so greedy to conquer the city with serum that injected into Dauntless army. But, Tris can't be affected because she is Divergent, thats why she can rebels Jeaninie army and uphold the justice.

Week 3

POLYSCAPE MOODBOARD

Explanation:

I am going to polyscape style rather than 3D thingy. Because i dont really good on the 3D stuff and technical and also to cut down the time since only have 3 weeks more. For the footage, i will go use mountain landscape, sea and other nature footage.

For this moodboard, i extract that i want to use normal position and upside down in one footage with basic shape. It can be colorfull mixed with black and white color or 2 colorful in one footage.

FACTIONS LOGO - GLITCH - RGB SPLIT MOODBOARD

Explanation :
At the half of the title sequence, i am going to show 1 second of 4 factions logo and fade away with glitch element. This part to attract viewer and represent that there is something critical problem with this factions.

From this moodboard, i extract that logo are going to be glitch / displacement picture for few second only.

TEAL AND ORANGE COLOR GRADING MOOD BOARD

Explanation :
Since the footage that i am going to use is not really supported on appearance especially color grading, so i need to colorgrading by myself. I will go with TEAL AND ORANGE style like block buster movie nowadays. Also, this color grading is giving calm sense
